Don't do Salsa on Sunday

We made salsa last Saturday afternoon and then headed to the football game. We decided we'd come back and then water bath the salsa to seal them after the game. We would have plenty of time to get this done. Well.... we got back about the time we had planned but it took a lot longer to water bath them than I had anticipated. It was about 12:15 (Sunday morning) and we were just waiting for our first batch to get done when all of a suddent we hear a loud thud sound! I ran to see what happened and it was a wonderful surprise to see that one of our salsa jars and exploded! Isn't that nice!
We decided to take them out cuz they were done and when we took the last one out another one exploded and went all over the counter and on the floor!
It was so funny! We were so tired so we cleaned up and went to bed! We really would have loved to eat those two jars of Salsa!
Moral of the story... Don't do Salsa on Sunday!
